Our Japanese Family has been kicking some serious goals of late! Hiroto Arai and Nagisa Tashiro have both had features in the latest Surfin Life Japan.

Nagisa is the youngest ever JPSA (Japanese Pro Surfing Association) Grand Champion, the youngest ever Rookie Of The Year – JPSA and the only women to ever do this in the same year! It won’t be long before she is on the World Tour.

Not much can be said about Hiroto Arai, that hasnt already been said. Hiro grew up in the concrete jungle of Yokohama and was a weekend warrior until he started competition surfing and realised he had a real gift. He is a real good chance to be the first ever Japanese surfer to qualify for the World Tour
