Items in your order that are designated for shipment to countries outside of Australia may be subject to taxes, customs duties and fees levied by the destination country ("Import Fees"). The recipient of the shipment is the importer of record in the destination country and is responsible for all import Fees.
Import Fees for international shipments, if applicable, are charged to the customer. It is the responsibility of the customer to be aware of what import charges may be applicable in your country.
In the case of gifts or other purchases made on behalf of another recipient, you also agree to grant the foregoing authorization on behalf of the recipient designated in your order.
To obtain details regarding the Actual Import Fees, or to obtain documentation or receipts in connection with customs clearance, you may contact the Carrier specified in your shipment confirmation e-mail or prior to purchase.
If you refuse a shipment from Emery, you are responsible for the original shipping charges, any Import Fees that are incurred on the package, and the cost of returning the package to Emery. This amount will be deducted from your merchandise refund.
These terms and conditions are in addition to the standard information as outlaid under FAQ’s. Pursuant to those terms, title and risk of loss for the items transfer to the recipient upon delivery to the common carrier in Australia.
Once in a while, we will have parcels returned back to us because they haven’t been claimed or picked up from local post office. We do not take responsibility of items that are sent back to us unclaimed. If an item makes it’s way back to us, we will notify you immediately and discuss options of re-sending. Depending on the situation, there maybe be additional shipping charges for re-sending an order.
At Emery, we understand how important customer service is and will endeavor to respond to all enquiries immediately. We pride ourselves in our product, as well as the service we can provide in other aspects of the business including quick response and dispatch time. If you are not happy with your purchase for whatever reason, please email email@example.com we will answer your email within 48 hours (Mon-Fri) to discuss and provide you with return instructions if necessary. We also have a 24 hour return policy with any returns. If you need to send something back, we will call you once it arrives and organize a replacement/solution within 24 hours.
We do not provide refunds if you simply change your mind but we may provide you with a credit note or exchange. This will be determined on a case by case basis. We do not cover freight costs for any returns unless the return is a result of an error from our part. If you decide to exchange your item because of sizing or because you don’t like the item, there maybe a shipping charge to re-send replacement.
